HI,
I am having a hard time with transparency. I created a glass material which is transparent.
I can see what is behind the material and I would like to preserve that information in alpha channel when I replace a background. When I check opacity in alpha channel, the transparency is gone and object is 100 opaque. This makes it hard to get a believable scene because I lose reflections on a glass. How can I preserve alpha channel information. Pic is included.

It seems to me that your transparency is in fact refraction.. in this case alphas remain opaque. Also note that if you're using mr's glass material, it doesn't have any transparency.

Hope I uderstood the problem properly
