This is the inevitable 1st try at doing a head. I know i dont have much done but its my 1st time, so it did take a while for me. Im doing most of it from curves and edge extrusions, and a little appending. Just trying to follow a bit what ive read. Any crits along the way will be much appreciated!! It will be sloppy for a bit, so bear with me Please, Im a noooob as my title will show:banghead:

looks better than many 1st tries, better than mine for sure. it really is pointless to post such an incomplete model though. how can we give you feedback at this stage? you will eventually have to reroute your topography, but where is the fun without that? check out this thread at some point: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=38469&highlight=topology+division

topography?
topography?
I cant even start to really think about the topography until I can actually get my 1st head done!! no, no, I know that I should always be keeping it in mind as I go along. Might as well learn the right way first rather than to pick up bad habits and poor modeling teq. But its my 1st try:D The only reason I have posted such an uncomplete model is because of the types of input you just gave me! before i get too far along i apreciate the input so i can make some changes early on time. Remember, Its my 1st try at a poly head. I am rambling cause its 3;30 am. Bye for now!

actually, it is probably a good idea to makes lots of mistakes at first, cuz that way you learn better. i just meant that sometime in the future, you should study the structure and then rework your model
