View Full Version : Need feedback for lighting

Hi,

I need feedback for my image. I am using Mental Ray for rendering and finding lot of problems with paint Effects and Fog light not being visible in render , though it looks better in Maya Software. On the other hand Fur gets burnt in Maya software and looks beautiful in Mental Ray.
Any ideas for how to improve lighting in my scene.

Any help with be highly appreciated,

Use shadows. Light it up more logically. You don't see that light halos in day light, only in dark rooms, so wether turn 'em off or darken the room.
I'm pretty sure there is more, but this should be enough to start with.

Do you know what might be really interesting having the room in the background darker than the room in the foreground, then you could use the nice uplighters and the halo effect, plus it would break up your scene. Maybe that isnt the style you want to go for though but it might be interesting to try it....Thumbs up from me for the modelling
