I made this as a birthdaycard for my girlfriend. I used photoshop for the lineart and painter for the colour. Im sorry for the anime-style, but once your in its hard to get out =/ I will definetly try to get rid of it, but for now youll have to bear with me. Critiques and comments are welcome.

the creatures have a slight hayao miyazaki feel to them. I think if her eyes were a little more closed it would have given her a more relaxed feel. right now her eyes give a suprised or uncomfortable look, combined with the soft smile makes her face somewhat unnatural or unpleasant appearance. keep at it. not a bad image at all.
