Hi.

I'm trying to get a box to cast a shaddow on a plane that is directly beneath it. The plane needs to be perfectly white (the same as the background). I've tried setting the material of the plane to 100 self illumination but this cancels out the whole shaddow effect. I'm out of ideas and would appreciate any help anyone else might have in the matter.

Thanks.

look into the matte/shadow material type.

or use the falloff material triggered by light/shadow
