View Full Version : Final Animation Process URGENT HELP needed

Hi everybody, sorry for the second post in between several minutes... But i gotta get this render to go today.

Problem: I've got inbetween several renders a big one with a car drive... So not only camera movement, also moving geonetry. For this case I started off with a split in two renders. One for the street (static) and one with VraySphereFade (Gizmo around the car) Now the SphereFade plug in doesnt work. So i gotta use another render solution. Irradiance map doesnt work (Cant bake it<->moving geometry), because of flickering.

In which way should i render this scene (fastest way^^would be the best way) (settings etc.)

I'm not sure I understand your question well, but if you're looking for a fast GI-like solution for your render I would definitely use MentalRay's Ambient Occlusion.

You can either assign the shader to your entire scene (using material override in the MRay Processing rullout) and render your separate Occlusion pass (to be composited later over your beauty pass), or assign the shader to an omni light (MRay light shader) and render all your scene in one pass (for speed purposes).
