View Full Version : projecting textures on nurbs, please help!
jnxdrcg 11-17-2002, 03:21 PM i am using maya 4 and i am trying to project file textures onto nurbs surfaces but they have a tendancy to blast right through the surface to infinity projecting onto any side with the same material in the way of the projection. i dont want to use a stencil if i dont have to. can this be fixed? is it an option im leaving unchecked somewhere? ive included a quick render so you can see what im talking about. please help cause i have been racking my brain and im fresh out of ideas. thanks! jnxdrcg@hotmail.com

Hi!
You seems to use a planar projection with 3d placement. You shoot try an uv mapping it's made for nurbs!
