i'm working on getting my demo reel together, and pretty much the last big hurdle i have is one thing that's bugging the heck out of me. i've seen people do this, so i know it can be done, but i just don't know how:
what i want to do is to have an image move (a large texture file) with a smaller track matte to mask out all but a small section. then the image in back would move to show parts of the texture, but while still leaving part of the screen open for the model turntable. i've seen this specifically on the VFS modeling and texturing showreels, if you need an example.
any help would be appreciated, and the sooner the better. i have a due date for this reel tomorrow.
