does anyone know where I can get a hi-res phot of ceramic bathroom tiles that I can use as a texture??

Maybe you can rip one off your bathroom wall and scan it in? :)
Well, maybe if you were living in a crappy apartment like me, no one would notice...

You could try taking a photograph. . .

It's not high res, but this page has several tile patterns on it.

Lemog is pretty good. I think he also has a link to the manufacturer's site that he created the tile images from.
