Hey all I was just screwing around this afternoon and did a render of my biker character lizzy. Anyways thought i'd post it and see what you all thought. I kinda gave up on her a few months ago when the bike short got deep sixed... But I finished texturing her up and rigging her regardless.. Anyways this is old work now, the new version on liz is being modeled from the ground up, all new. Im modeling her naked and then doing clothes on top, posibly simulations. Going to try to get near photoreal with the new version. So keep an eye out for that in the WIP forum along with my the landmate I have on the go for a short film. Lots of stuff in the works... Anyways coments welcome...

Hey there, nice work !

I really like her outfit, the model is very clean, and the texturing is top notch. Hmm, that leather ...
Her face did not seem to get as much attention, though, and she looks kinda CG compared to the rest of her body. You'll only need to tweak her face's shader a little bit (adding some colors and imperfections), and maybe add a little bump so that it does not look completely flat compared to the outfit. The hair could also need a bit of fluffiness, but I know how hard that can be ...

Anyway great work, I can't wait to see more.

Hey Jeb thanx for the reply, only one hmm. Well her face is textured, just dosent show up very well at a distance, ill do a closer render, or maybey a higher res one of the same to show that. Yah the hair, hair is a pain in the ass...working on some new methods to getting it to work how I want. Anyways thanx again, ill do some more poses of her through the week if I get the time...

Start over. Start over.

Why!

man...finish this one.

her face needs some yellow-ish tint in the specular channel and
Her hair needs a different shader darker or lighter on each poly curve to show layers of hair.

I wouldn't start over.

Continue with this one.

Hey Julez how goes? Im just making some small tweaks to her and calling it done. The new short im doing is way more photo real so she just wouldn't fit, but I am going to finish the last little tweaks on her, and put it on my demo reel as a realistic cartoon. I may just re-do the hair entirely, actually testing out some various techniques right now. Want to get my hands on XSI 3.0 to test out the new hair in it. But untill then ill just stick with the old technique, just tweak the maps a bit more. Anyways ill put up a few more renders as I finish tweaking her....

Hey thanx to those of you who have commented. Here's another render, basically a similar pose just closer so you can see the face better. I did a little work on the spec maps for the hair, and a few other minor tweaks. Anyways let me know what you all think..... Ill do another from a different angle of this pose to show how well the mesh is deforming... later though, im going to bed now....

great work on the rigging, there are no notacable pinching spots even though she is in a pose that would generate a lot of pinching.

One thing, she seems to be a bit too thin around the stomac

The unrealistic thing about her is her face and may body outline porportion. Model a realistic face and fix the porportions to be accurate by using lattices.

Unless you just want tot model some more....

I was thinking we aere gonna see some animation.

Cool work. :)
I like the outfit and leather texture.

Maybe the hair look a bit weird(painted) to me.

Keep on.
