HI all,

is it possible to query the birthposition in U- (or V-) value of a surface-emitted particle?

Letīs say I have a plane emitting particles and want to get the birthposition or U-position of each particle where it was emitted on the plane.. is there any variable ?

That would greatly help me with my actual job: to integrate selfshadowing on the sprites emitted by a (diagonal) falling rock (particles with a high U-value could then get brighter than the lower ones)

Thanks for any ideas,
Boris

think its called parentU and parentV, so you'll have to turn on the need parent UV check box too :)

Thanks! :)
