If you don't have the tape I don't know how you are goiong to capture (digitize) your footage.
Please elaborate. (are you trying to import from a hard drive?)
Because the log and capture window show me what my camera see... so i was thinking that it would be possible... I think i need a particular connection (vst or something similar)...

All you need is a FireWire connection from your miniDV camcorder to your computer. Maybe your camera isn't remore-able, in this case you have to capture on the fly. I don't know the exact name nor where this function is located, but I'm sure that this is possible.
yes Scrimsky i mean that kind of thing...

If you are going to use firewire (ieee 1394), then you must get a 6pin to 4pin cable. Plug the six pin into the computer and the 4 into the camera.
Then in your capture box you should have an option for device control. (or in the options)
If it detects your camera then you should be able to control it. If not then press play on your camera as if you are going to watch it on a television. You should see a picture in the the capture video window. Press record in the capture window then press play on your camera.

I think that zoc don't want to capture some recorded stuffs but want to record directly what the camera see.
I haven't tried it yet but since (at least with premiere) you can do stop motion and time lapse i think in FC it will be ok if you simply go in the capture window and press the capture now button with the camera not in vcr mode.
There is only one way to know. Try and let us know.
yes Zakkos, that's a good idea....
tomorrow i'm going to try it...
