CGTalk - How to delete UV ?

I have a mesh and after working on it, i figured that i could reorganize the UVs. I want to completly wipe the old set and start from scratch, does anyone know how ?

how can this be done, im under Max 7

in the utilities tab/ more... / UVW remove

it also removes materials if you want.
