Hi,

I'dposted the WIP of this bathroom before and now , i've made changes i thought were appropriate to it, according to people's suggestions and i hope i've done a good job. Of course, there was a suggestion that i should make a dirty bathroom, but... i can't make what i've never seen. maybe someday....
P.S. Thank You for your suggestions, sarah !

my suggestion : take 12 more hours to model and another 12 for texturing and rendering. It looks really flat (modelling & lightning & texturing).
Too clean, etc.

I guess you got it, don't take it bad.

I never saw a bathroom that clean in India :)
I agree it looks a bit flat, but I think it's actually good compared to what I can do.

your floor tiles look like they're tiling wrong, sorry if they're supposed to be like that

And you're mirror looks bent.

Overall, it's not bad for a day's work :)

You've never seen a dirty bathroom? Where the hell are you? Go to like taco bell and take some pics. Ug.

Anyways, shows improvement over the wip you posted. I think towels above the tub look pretty good. The color is a little strong but it looks nice. My comment of the day.... in the second pic, where it goes from bathroom wall -> to shower wall. (Left side) It seems really confusing. Also, no shadows being cast in the shower. Keep up the hard work.

oooh a structure design . my fav.

First off nice bathroom.

Design wise.. (And these are personal critiques ie based on my personal likes)

if you have to have the flower pot near the shower.. might want to put it to the left side of the shower / near the toilet.
Reason is as the wet person is going to reach for the towel one usually doesn't like having to drip over stuff (Even if it's a plant)

Maybe move the towel rack just a tiny tiny tiny 'TINY' bit more to the left. It's too near the mirror for my taste.

Also is the shower door a sliding one (ie sides around the shower structure) or is it an open out door? If it's an open out one.. than the flower pot poses and additional problem.

You might want to consider elongating the shower floor mat more. Though I'm not sure design wise how it would work with the horizontal floor mat of the sink (which is nice by the way).

Also though obviously we can't see the right interior of the shower.. which might have what I'm thinking about.. a holding area for soap and other things.. which might be inside the shower / covered from view.

Something you might want to think about adding is another attachment that is like a shower head but with a hose that you can pick up and spray around.

Very roomy bathroom. Have you considered ever using natural lighting.. like maybe a glass over head area.. to show some sky? though if it's in a building.. it might prohibit it.. either limiting it to a wall window or if it's deep inside a structure any windows at all. so perhaps something added to give it a touch of natural ness. Maybe one wood trip horizontal line for the sink or a corner block design. (but I'm grasping with that thought maybe).

Anyway.. kewl topic to pick. :)

thatz what i APPRECIATE....CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM where my errors are pointed out meaningfully, so that i can work on them tomake the scene better. You're the first person to do it right ! Thanks brother. will make adjustments to the next scene when i get some time later this week.

fellas, 90% of indians are poor and have NO IDEA about cleanliness. 40% of the toilets have NO WATER SUPPLY at all. So i get the idea where arjun is from. btw,if ya guys wanna see some clean toilets, make some money to pay your way into any decent hotel or if ya win some lottery or rob a bank, buy a decent house... you'll see toilets cleaner than what i have modeled here.
have a good one. :0 peace:airguitar

Hello,

Even if you are royalaty and have never had to soil your soles on unclean public restrooms you obviously have access to the internet.

I'd suggest looking really close even at your ultra clean toilet room and notice the subtle details, colors, and how light plays off the objects. Then try and make it like that.

Fix the shadows from the wall into the shower wall for the second picture. And also the shower head is kind of strange.
By the way, I live in Chicago, USA :buttrock:
I just go to India sometimes because my parents grew up there. :airguitar

:bounce: Just a suggestion, but you really should try and work on your color scheme. Your colors just don't match. Try using colors that complement each other. Also I would work on layout because there just seems to be to much space and yeah you might be trying to give the impression of the bathroom being large, but the compostion just isn't that intersting.
