View Full Version : Quicktime H.264 for usage in AE?

Hello Everyone,

I'm going to be using about 10-15 minutes worth of footage in HD in After Effects 6.5.1 on Windows.

I'm contemplating using Quicktime H.264 for the quality/compression capabilities. I've done some quick tests in AE, and this seems to be fine.

I just wanted to get your opinion as the best format/codec I should be using for digitized HD footage. Any reason I should be using another codec?
