View Full Version : See Transparency Maps in Real-Time??

I was wondering is there's anyway to get my transparency maps to work without actually rendering it. I want to see it in real-time (in the viewport). I got it to work kind of, but there are areas that are transparent when it shouldn't be, some kind of sorting issue. I already tried the clicking off transparency sorting in the viewport panel, but that's not doing anything. Please help! I am using Maya 7.

change your view port to High Quality
and Transparency Sorting is only for the selection purposes when you have the menu enabled

I tried changing it to High Quality Rendering, it just makes it worse. I'm starting to think it's a hardware problem.

Iím having this same problem and its driving me nuts.
This might be obvious but overlooked: Have you changed the texture channel to combined in the hardware texturing section in the attribute editor of your shader?
