Need help with Zombie reference

While developing They Hunger, I´ve been reading the comic books Remains and Horrorcide, which both are so-so. Good inspiration nevertheless.

Reference for modeling or animation? You could check out land of the dead movie/game, resident evil movies and games, the dawn of the dead remake, and theres also a comic book series called "The Walking Dead".

the first of 'the dead' series. Dawn and day i think are exceptional. Reanimators pretty funny/as well as shaun of the dead. The remake of dawns okish.

Don't forget realism, there isn't anything more gross than seeing a correctly modeled digestive tract hanging out all over the place.

Keep in mind alot of these examples have been preserved or cleaned up so you don't get alot of gore, just the structure. I know there are a few websites around that focus on real pictures of gore and junk like that but I'm not going to go looking for them because they bug me morally or something. pirates of the caribbean... great work on the pirates when their true selves appeared.
