View Full Version : Getting Started with Sketch & Toon ...

I'm doing my first real steps in Sketch & Toon, because i might need it more often now.

In the first image only the backdrop ist postwork but the strokes are scanned textures. The second image is plain Skecth & Toon no postwork (ok the Sign ;-))

You probably noticed the Horizon in the second image ... sadly i found no way to get rid of it. The composing Tag option seems not to work (shadow catcher on background) with S&T ...

Has anyone found a workaround for transparent object to let render lines behind them ? Would be nice to see some interior.

s&t should work through transparency, but not in reflection (there are ways of making it draw through obejcts too, e.g. for interior lines). as for the horizon, switch off the background/fill in the post effect settings, so that it uses cinema's own textures there rather than quantized versions and that should help fix that.

Thanks mdme_sadie i managed the horizon problem.

But i dont get transparency (line drawing behind) to work. I think it has to do with the selection. I dont want to draw the body (the car mesh) all behind lines ... sadly i can only put objects in the Object List of the hidden line drawing dialog.

Since the windows are a polyselection with a different material i couldn't finde a obvious solution.
