First I gotta say, the art I saw on this site made me go buy a intuos3 this morning. Thanks for the inspiration.

This is a 5 yr old sketch I had on the comp, so I used it to learn to color,like a guinea pig. I know the anatomy is a bit skewed, but I was in my Joe Mad clone phase. I can't wait to get some new stuff scanned. I'll take all the advice I can get, especially on the colors. This is my first attempt on a tablet. Scanned drawing, colored in ps7.

Pretty good,
I think you could use some variation in color on the skin, maybe think about adding slightly colored lights sources, try mixing colors

I lost a lot of the harder colors in the skin when I used the smudge tool to blend. What is the proper way to blend colors? I tried a search, but haven't found much that really explains it.
