I had no problem modeling an arm. I started of as NURBS cylinder. I got the basic shape of the arm. I then converted to polygons. I worked them, making it look right. Moving the poyls around. So basically from there, i converted from poly to sub-d. I keep going back and forth. Sub-d was for my final arm.

That's the easiest way i know.

Start with NURBS. Trust me, you will really like it. Get the basic down. Convert it to Polygon mode. And for final. Convert it to sub-d.

thanks for the replies.

frontjibi,
poly to sub-d then back to poly is my method; i had problem getting proportions right since i did not have good orthographic reference at the time.
so while flipping through the pages of my anatomy book i found some pretty good ortho views of an arm that i scanned in.

dilbot,
i feel honored that you used your first reply on helping to me out.
i must know you...who are you ?
