Hi,
This is what I was working on last 21 hours. Its near the finish, but I can not get the realistic look for the headlights. Does anyone have an idea how to get that.
Headlights are modeled from two parts. Headlight housing and outer grass cover. Glass cover has an transparent, gray filter, falloff fresnel reflection material. Housing material has an painted texture map with specular and luminosity all blended with crome material.
I had an idea of going out and taking a photo of a headlight and trying to make a texture out of this.. but analyzing the complete headlight you can see how many layers are there and how every one is different.
Anyone, Idea, ?
