View Full Version : Video Card Support Combustion
-=Max_Rally=- 10-28-2005, 08:01 PM I used to use after effect and most hardware support it but now I am using combustion 4 and the problem that the video preview is not real time. And also the cashing takes place in the ram, which I don't want instead it should be done by the video card. So, I need you to recommend a video card that will support this procedure and please try to give me various types especially the ones that support combustion 4.
Best regards

Which videoboard are you using now? Anyway, the videoboard has nothing to do with the realtime capabilities of the ram-preview. Its always done in ram, but thats the same as in afterFX.

select the "use openGL" function to speed certain viewports up. But be warned its not as versatile as the software rendering method. and if your using anything bigger than 2k image size, then forget using openGL completely.
mind you if your using 2k then you'll need a flint/flame box
