Just a still for now. A frame from the new music video for GirlTalk by TLC, directed by Dave Meyers.

2D character animation by Leonard Robinson.
3D animation and technical direction by yours truly.

Could have been better, but I think it's pretty good for 2 weeks of work. BTW, I know that rainbow in the back right should also be out of focus. :)

I've upped an animation for anyone interested to see.

the final music video has this animation cut into it, but here you guys get to see it as one sequence.

Now I got to see it and can change the channel now everyfriggan time its gonna be on much music.. I got to see the goodies right away..

Leonard you animation is slick.. I like.
Yours truly your 3d scene kicked ass. Millions of viewers around the world are gonna think that was hand drawn too... LOL kickass!!

I'll let leonard know you liked his character animation.

A couple friends have asked me what I did for it, they didn't know everything but the characters was 3D. In Maya with Maya's renderer. :)
