Title: 7 Swords
Name: Wang Yu
Country: China
Software: Painter

It's the firt time for me to post my drawing here,i am excited to see so many good painters and illustrations here.
This is one scene from the film <seven swords> edited by Tsui Hark.Eventhow i do not consider this film as a good one,i like some scenes of it.The gray colors, most of the actors design, and their pose,i think it's ok...So i picked a scene to try the oil brushs of PAINTER9 on.
Since i am a starter of computer graghics, most of this painting was completed in 1 layer, with the "flat oil" brush as well.
To just copy a movie scene is some borring, so i changed the actor(2nd one from the right) instead of myself.Yes,just the one like a clown...hoho...:)
Thank you for enjoying my works and giving me advice.

Very good painting, interesting how movie tricks work better dramatically than painterly approaches isn't it? It seems a simple fog generated inbetween the characters allows the director to stress their importance and role more obviously.

Great rendering and characters.
