I want to try something VERY different for the next 2 minute Film Club.
I was thinking that we could to a stick figure theater challenge.
The idea would be that people would do a stick figure animation in one month,
of the selected topic.

What do you guys think?

The wonderful animation in this thread gave me the idea.

That sounds like a fantastic idea Roberto. It would eliminate the live action category but would be a lot of fun.

same as velk.

I can't even draw hangman's figure so i would be out (sic...) but it would be cool anyway.

I think that's a great idea. At least I know I don't have to rely on actors and/or a camera crew/props. I can realistically do this (and the guys here can realistically sweep the floor with my butt doing the animation :D ).

But, there's a teeny-weeny issue:

Shouldn't this actually be placed in the Animation::WIP section instead of Filmmaking? Tough call, but I see this type of challenge being placed there, as much as I wouldn't want it to.
