Ok, we have a sceene with reference models. On the original model the facial shape keys are linked to paramater sliders. In the animated sceene these links are not working properly. They are there, but are missing some of the relative values.

We have tried re-exporting the model, and updating the reference model several times. Yet at the same time we imported a second reference model, right next to the first, and all the links work on it, but still not on the first.

We would like to avoid copying over all the animation keys onto the new model. If there is any way to get the reference model to work properly we'd like to take that rout.

any suggestions?

If im understanding you correctly you want to shut off some of the local save properties of your reference model. By default they are all clicked off, you want to uncheck the animation mixer/shape animation. After you do that update the referenece model and this shoudl bring in the updated shape mixer from your original model.

how do I shut them off? where are these local save properties located?
