Hi,

here are some renderings of a pocket tool I did the last days.
Modeling (Nurbs/SDS) and rendering was done in Realsoft3D. Comments?

looks good, perfect product shots. The metal textures are quite realistic.

If you want to place it in a more realistic scene, some scuffing will be needed.

very cool looking :applause: the only thing bothering me are the recessed holes you have on the casing. the dark boarders around them look a bit too cartoony. i think that's what's keeping me from seeing it as an entirely realistic object.

Beautiful work Tim, great lighting and metalic materials on a simple but elegant pocket tool. Very clean and nicely modeled.

Can we see a simple wireframe? And which bits are which between SDS or NURBs?

Wow nice design on that item. :) Someone would buy that. :)

(to bad I don't drink but I could imagine certain types of personalities would enjoy owning that device.
