I went from PS 6 to CS2 recently and in 6, under layers you could group a layer with the layer beneth it and the bottom layer would be the border for the layer on top. Anyone know where this has been moved to in CS2. Its driving me nuts trying to figure out how they have it now.

do you mean like a "clipping group" ?
if so, you just hold down the alt-key and click in the layers palette just between the two layers you want to group... you'll see the cursor change to a symbol with two circles and an arrow when you hit it right.

however, I'm not sure if this is what you're after, cause I think it was done the exact same way in PS 6, so you probably tried it already...
