CGTalk - multiple instances of max

I did a search and came up empty on this

why is it when I am shuitting down, some times there are multiple instances of max in the task manager? They do not want to shut down and I manually have to kill them. Any ideas?

Running XP w/sp1

You need to make sure thatwhen you start the porgram you are clicking more than twice. I am sure you arnt. Other than that I would take this up at the discreet, they should be able to help you. I hope I helped.

That's weird Matt. I would take it up with discreet, or at least the support forum.

theres a whole thread on this in discreets support forum....i think its a bug (what a suprise! ;))

When you use net render max is hiding in the task bar. Maybe thats the trick...

anton, I am not using network rendering, well at least not yet!
