look to this slide. I get sometime weird darken surface normals

on nurbs faces on modeling viewports. but ofcusre its not matter on rendering issue.

but I wantto know.there is many little bugs on maya that is never be a problem but if we summarize all it makes maya unsympathetic.

I ve already solves by weird modifications my uninterested stuffs as all you know.
I just wanted to show an unwanted small bug of maya artifact

i usually fix that by changing the distance of the profile curve away from the axis of revolution by a very small number (i.e. 0.001).

Sometimes this issue is fixed just by changing the material of the model.

This happens because you have several CVs on the top of each other at the pole.....if it really hurts you :D then you could select them all and scale them up by some small amount to make this "hardware artifact" dissapear.....
