View Full Version : Help my Alpha
Aikalogy 10-25-2005, 05:40 PM Was trying out alpha channel and this problem came up. I use a teaport as an test. u can see in the attachment here. I assigned a Checker map onto the teapot-both in diffuse and opacity maps. I have toggle the 'show in viewport' button in the material editor. But i jus can see the alpha transparency in my VIEWPORT but i see it in my render window. SO how can i Fix this? i wan a visually update of my alpha channel in my viewport. Thanks :(

Hi
Make sure that the show map in viewport button is on for the parent of the material (ie: not the oppacity channel). Then right click on the title of the perspective wiewport to bring up the viewport options, and change the transparency to best! - You should now see the effect of the opacity channel in the viewport!
