Is there a way to make max shut down after rendering? A script or something else...

Thank you!

Does that work with Max 4.x? Thing is, I've put the script AND the .exe both in my /scripts directory and I've also activated the script. After rendering, an MS-DOS window pops up really quickly but dissapears immediately. Something's not right, anyone know why?

You need to press Activate AutoShutdown after starting rendering. When rendering is over it will shutdown.

Maybe you have an non-atx pc ... or you need to close some applications before rendering...

Well, the thing is, is that when I start rendering, MAX won't allow me to run any sort of script, and even if I open the AUTOSHUTDOWN window before rendering, I can't activate it while its rendering. I've also tried pausing, but nothing'll work :thumbsdow

i think i had the same problem. the reason was something to do with the way it was referencing the shutdown exe's path... I don't know max script well enough to fix it properly, so I dropped the exe into another folder (c:\winnt), then just changed the script to reference the shutdown script absolute.
