hey dude,

that's a beautiful render, I'm not to sure about the two lines in the reflection image. I know you probably wanted it to add a more natural feel but I find them a bit distracting (only my thoughts though). I probably would have left them there as well.

Looks great. From a guitar player, I can tell you that it really does look like a used guitar. The one thing that stood out as not real is the scratch to the left. It goes from the front to the side of the guitar without any distortion as it hits the corner. Somehow that just doesn't seem quite right. The offending scratching object probably would jump off the surface when it hit the edge, not just continued seemlessly around to the side. Incredible work.

Excellent stuff!

I love the dust and fingerprint (even though it does look a little 'placed').

If it's reality you were going for, then congratulations. Its perfect. The dust, the fingerprint, the scratches, the detail on the strings...
I do believe this is front page material. Well done.

Very nice work! it doesn't look new for sure. But as a guitar player myself I can tell you it is not possible to change a string and tune up the guitar without gripping the tuners many times. ( 18:1 ratio average ) . The fingerprint suggests you only grapped it once, between thumb and index finger and then tuned it up , wich doesn't seem very obvious to me. The fingerprint looks to placed and a used guitar looks just a litlle more greasy on the overal ( especially the places where it is hard to clean ) . also the tuners are too square to be real. The edges are rounder in real life as you most obviously must heave felt yourself when tuning up your guitar. Very nice work again!

The little detail of the dust adds so much to the realism of the picture! You've done a great job!

I love the dust and fingerprint (even though it does look a little 'placed').

Agreed: I was having trouble figuring out how to say the same thing- the print was added nicely, but it's so THERE that it distracts the viewer from the rest of the picture (which I'm very impressed with by the way)
