Hello all,

I am pretty new to painter ix and wacom, and i was wondering what are to correct settings for my tablet. i really want to sketch with the charcoal and pencil tools but i can't seem to get the settings right. i was just hoping someone could help me by telling me thier settings. that way i can experiment with them and adjust to my needs. sorry if this issue has already been addressed, if so , please give the link so i read it.

In XP, both wacom and painter have pressure settings.

Wacom: Start->Wacom Tablet->Wacom Tablet. See the "Tip Feel Tab"
Corel Painter 9: -> Edit->Preferences-> Brush Tracking

I don't know about the Mac enviroment

On the Mac, it's Corel Painter IX ->Preferences-> Brush Tracking. This is one of the most important settings to really "adapt" Painter to your hand, getting you to create natural-looking brush strokes.

It is also available from the fourth tab of the Welcome Screen, both on Mac & Windows.
