Hey everyone!
I'm new to this forum, my name is Rob and I run a freelance web design & development community, not as popular as this place though! Anyway, enough about me :)
I'm currently learning 3d studio max as part of my university assignment and i've been looking around for decent video tutorials on how to create a realistic underwater scene, i'd like to include some coral/seaweed, perhaps a sunken ship and then I will be modelling two fish for my story!
I have come across the popular tutorial on how to create a underwater scene (the one with the treasure chest) but it's not quite what i'm after and it doesn't really come out looking as good as their pictures! If anyone has any advice/help or links to a great tutorial I would be very grateful!
What sort of techniques should I be thinking about using to create this project? I'm very new to max, I do know the basic modelling principles, texturing, lights, cameras etc. I wanted to do something challenging but fun at the same time. Any resources/help you can give is grateful!
Thanks alot everyone :)
