Ok I know how to extrude faces and all that but if I wanted to add some circular stuff to a character such as cylinder and stuff to add more detail How would I do that? LIke to get the results such as in this pic http://www.freeimagehosting.net/aa0dfaa7b7.jpg Would I create separte cylinders and just push them into place or would I like use the split polygon tool and create a circle in the character and just extrude. Thanks for the Comments

just a thought:
you'd rather use NURBS to do that instead of polygons cuz it's waaaay easyer to acomplish such mechanical surfaces with nurbs. And besides, if you really need polys, in the end you can convert the nurbs surfaces to polygons (with the CV -> VTX and the attach multiple surfaces options enabled) and smooth them out.

Thanks Yashu for the thought but I just thought mechanical stuff would be done with Polygons because of its hard edges and etc.
