Itīs nice.
But.
The shadow is to strong. You should make him more leaned back. He looks like a zombie walking. Make him stand like a model posing. :wip:

Ack, now Bono has even made it into 3d. I can't avoid him. I hate him.
Although it is a nice image, the shadow as mentioned is too strong. Somehow the pose captures Bono nicely. (If anything associated with him can be considered nice)
For some reason, I think of Grand Theft Auto 3/4 with the second image.

thnx for the crits/comments! :D
I made the first image in the style of the original videoclip
"The Fly" wich has very dark lighting. with him moving from the shadows into the light.
I wanted to give the image a very contrasted look by using these hard lights and make the whole picture appear `almost monochromatic.
and still make the leather jacket softly reflect the enviroment.
the pose.. could be changed, but for the image I think it fits.
cheers and thank you!

:D thnx!!people! :D
yeah the head and the legs, the head appears to be big because of the hair, and I looked at alot of photographs of Bono only to see that his legs are not really big(and that Bono is quite a little guy).
I am thinking about making a small part of a stage and let him sorta perform a part of the song.
/me went to the elevation tour when it came to the netherlands and is still very happy when thinking back.

Lemme guess... this is Michael Jackson right? Haha, just kidding, nice job, but the pose seems kinda' weird and I'm not entirely sure that it looks like Elvis. But, I could be wrong about that seeing as how I don't really know what he looked like as he got older, just when he was young.

I could tell it's Bono right away. Those glasses and hair give it away. Now you need to model the rest of the band and make a CG music video for them!

Khepri, nice job on Bono here. I'm a big fan of U2 as well.
Like someone mentioned before, his legs seem too short. He might be a small guy, but that's rarely apparent in any videos or photos. Besides, as a rock icon, you don't want to look like you're 3-feet tall.
As for his pose, I think you could flex his standing leg a bit more and his arms a bit so he doesn't look like he's walking up a set of stairs blindly.
This might be ridiculously picky, but I haven't seen Bono roll up his leather jacket sleeves up since those awful 80's outfits of his.
Keep posting your updates.
cheers

Great model, but it does look like Bono's legs are too short. Ack! Bono. Sorry...puts out good music, but can't stand his personality. Little too liberal for me :p

Also, do we get to see more angles of the guy?
On a side-note. Personality or not, Bono's done a HUGE amount of work for debt-relief of third world countries and even more work for Greenpeace. I think there's something to be said for that.
Not appropriate thread for this, just wanted to share.

thanks all for the crits/comments/replies:D!
I'll fix the pose and change the perspective so you can see that his legs are longer than they appear to be.
I'll also render out some different angles and post a wireframe.
