After failing on numerous texturing attempts, I decided to brush up on my colour theory. I came across this program http://www.color-wheel-pro.com/ ...its kind of cool(Hey Colours can be cool man :)).

It will make you a Colour Palette based on whatever scheme(Mono, Analogous, Complementry ect) and colour(s) you choose and you can even save out the palette to be loaded into photoshop's swatch panel

I know this will help me out alot because I am colour blind lol.....Try it out..Make sure you change the "Preview As" to Palette

Heres the same kind of program but web based so you dont have to download anything. Not sure if its "as good" or has the same type of features but its good for a quick reference to color schemes and such :thumbsup:

You should develop an instinct for that kind of stuff, it's a good learning ground but don't be bound by it.
