Hey guys I was wondering if any one can point me to a step by step tutorial rather it is video or html . I found a flash one on kurv but its a light wave one. I was hoping you guys knew of any zbrush & c4d ones.

Thank You,
Rob

well the only thing i've found that you need to do is flip the map vertically in z-brush before you export it, and that's about it really. i mean what else is there to do? you just load it into your displacement channel, maybe change the spd settings a little and the height value, and maybe also load in the normal map into the normal map channel.

First, you need this free (donation ware) plugin;
http://www.skinprops.com/fr_c4d.htm

Second, you are looking in the wrong place. Go to ZbrushCentral, there is an extensive thread with lots of C4d examples and settings;
http://206.145.80.239/zbc/showthread.php?t=20310&highlight=CINEMA

Third, you did not specify what version of C4D you are using. The above thread starts out with R8.5 and R6 (CE) and later in the thread covers R9 and the changes that SubPolyRendering introduce.

;)

edit'
forgot to add;

You also need to download the latest Zbrush Plugins. Here's the new Displacement Exporter Z-Plug;

make sure to check round geometry (as this is typically the sort of subdivision that z-brush does).

You may want to try intensity centered for your displacement as that is how ZB creates a disp map
