Hello,
I'm a lightwave user and I'm trying to export a model to Xsi format. I did the model on my pc and imported on another one which had Xsi installed on it. Textures worked because I stored them in the same path of my pc, now the user that will use the object got this result after a default renderhttp://www.ccbc.it/3d/serv/default_pass_render.jpg
It's just a problem of texture path? Or there's something else that I have to check?
Thanks anyone for the help.

Do you have the image connected in the rendertree to your shader instead of the NOICON pic?

 This is a great problem, I'm not a Xsi user, I just had a favor from a friend who have Xsi in his company (but actually searching for another artist, so there isn't anyone which can help me. When I did the conversion I started from my Lightwave file, I exported it in obj format, in Xsi I imported the obj, the textures where there and they worked when I did a test render, so I exported as .xsi (this is what the user asked me).
Where I have to search to check the path of the textures?
I'm very sorry, I'm less than a beginner, it's really the first time I used it.
Do you know if the trial version is enough to import-export objects? So I can do it by my own.

Really thanks a lot.

Yes it's just a path problem.
Whenever XSI can't find a texture it put's the "Nopic" image in it's place.

Your friend will just have to open the texture editor and point the image node to wherever they put the bitmap you gave them.

just drag and drop the image onto xsis window then re-attach the image.
