Did this little fella´ in a couple of hours tonight. He´s my RPG character, and he´s a...... don´t know the english word for it (Järv in Swedish) ....sort of a small bear :)

Anyway, all photoshop. I think I almost only used the pen tool, and the eraser....

Here it is, hope you like it. It´s fun to share :bounce:

Hahaha ... he does remind me of the evil weazles from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Nice colors and the orange rim light is fantastic. The head and upper body are wonderful. The lower part of his body, I feel, could be less dominate by using darker colors. This would focus your attention on it's head.

Good job

love the way you did his face, hands and guns! just think his legs could be positioned more menacingly.. but over all, its cool! especially the coloring! :applause:

I´m really glad you liked it!
wildsheepchase: "Wolverine" that´s the word:thumbsup:

I have to agree with you about the evil weazles, ther is a strong reasemblance (spelling?)

I´ll might work a bit more on the lower part of his body.
Thank ya´all :wavey:

I´ve made a little tutorial type of thing. This will probably make no sense at all :)

this is the basics. I painted most of the stuff like this, using mainly one layer.

fbmar: Thanx alot. Glad you liked it! I don´t havea very hi-res version of this, but I´ll send over what I´ve got. Ok?

Sir PAL: Thanks. If using a mouse, use low opacity, and draw many (MANY) strokes :) That´s how I did before purchasing a Wacom.

Thanks Ivars for this tip. In the past i painted a lot of this fantasy miniatures for tabletop & roleplaying games and the technique is very similar to this. I painted a lot of layers with acrylic paint which i had to mix with a lot of water to get a very low opacity.

good pic, however the legs bug me... where are his knees? if they are there maybe they need more definition (knobby knees)?
I don't know... its just a suggestion...

Thanks.
eunuchbot: I´m not sure, but he´s wearing pretty thick pants, so I don´t think they´ll show very much. But I guess it´s a question of taste.:)
