I wanted to make a hairy little character (i did it in poly), I tried to do it in NURBS (box modeling) but i cant seem to switch to the "face"mode like i CAN do when i modell with poly's.
Why?
How can I get the same shapes (extrution, splitting poly tool) with a NURBS cube?
Also you cant atache FUR to a poly modell huh?

You should really check the manuals before using fur. It will save you alot of headache. Also go through the nurbs modelling manual. Nurbs and polys are entirely different, you can't do the same things on a nurbs surface that you can with poly's.
