CGTalk - Giant over city

Hi,
I'm just starting a new image for a project I’m doing. The aim is to show the scale of the giants I've been working on recently, previous feedback I've had on them commented on the lack of scale. At the moment I’m playing with the idea of the giant standing over a city. This image is a really rough sketch. I’m ignoring details at the moment and trying to concentrate on shape and tone. I’m going to post the images as they develop. The image below is the sketch done straight into Photoshop and the one below it is one of the giants. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

imo - the little guy needs to be renered as a higher contrst element in the picture - to make him/her more visible. I would simplfy the background. good luck
