I've posted this everywhere else, might as well see what kinda feedback (if any) I can get here. Below, is a perfect depiction of Natalie Portman's stunt double. :p 2nd attempt at digital painting.

Thanks, panta! I didn't like how it turned out the first time, so I tried again. Tell me if you like this one better.

Thanks, PsychedelicMind! :) It's painted after Natalie Portman's picture, on the cover of Star Wars Episode 2 DVD. Senator Padme... Queen Amidala. I decided to paint it, to help me familiarize myself with digital painting. That last image I posted is my 3rd attempt at painting anything on the computer.

panta: Yeah, I'm still a little off, on the nose, you're right. Nothing a little tweaking won't fix. :bounce:

Well, the second one looks more like Natalie.
But there is something really off with the ear and the cheeckbone.
Move the ear a lot more to the front and it will improve.
Tip on painting hair (specially in painter): take a rough brush, set to very big. Paint from dark to light. That way you can paint whole parts of the hair at once instead of hair by hair. Works faster and looks better.

Good luck, Jeroentje

What i think would make this picture great.

I like the second drawing.

jeroentje: Going from the pic I referenced this from, I think I just made her head a little too wide, this time. Perhaps her ear is indeed a little too small, as well. I know I painted her nose wrong, too. I might try this one more time. Thanks for the tips on painting hair, I'll deffinitely give the method you suggested for painting hair a try. I need to learn as much as I can about this new fangle "digital painting." :) Thanks again.

bigbad: I think you're right on both counts. I'll keep tweaking to see if I can't salvage this image. Thanks for the suggestions, I really appreciate the feedback.

The second one is closer than the first one. You also have better color choices in the second one. Aside from what's already been suggested, I think you need to work on the hair. We've seen your previous drawings...so I know you can do better in that area.;)
Keep at it:wip:
