Release from AW: 3ds for 4.5, Doesn't work?

I´ve readen in another forum, that you should add a *.zip to the name of the file, eg "3ds" --> "3ds.zip" , unzip it and you should get an *.mll file

but i didn´t try it

I got the Mll files, and installed it into the correct plugin dir, it shows up in my plug-in manager, so it sees it, but when i check on the load box, it doesn't let me and gives me that error. Confused :cry:

Yep, won't load here either. Script editor spits back "Error: No plug-ins loaded - "The specified module could not be found.

Wow, releasing a plugin that wont even load...:rolleyes:

just downloaded it and it loads without a fuzz and importing a 3ds scene worked for me - are you sure you have downloaded the one for 4.5?

Thanks for the link, but I tried it and it did the samething, I have tried deleting prefs, that obvioulsy didn't work, just thought it was worth a shot, but I tried the one you posted, and it still did not work. Thanks,

I tried the link stunndman provided, and downloaded that file (same file I had actually), unzipped it and moved it over to the plugins directory. Still won't load in the plugin manager.

hmmm this is very wierd. why would it not load for brianellebracht or myself, but it would for stunndman?
