View Full Version : Bavarian Tankard in search of photorealism

This started as an experiment to create a texture from a cylindrical object and now I'm trying to make this tankard a little bit more real. Would be glad to get some tips, comments and opinions :)
The tankard's created with Cinema 4D. The biggest problem for me is the tin lid, I'm currently trying a danel shader with some anisotropic highlights and a bit hdri-reflection.

gsuffa - wenn du die reflektivität des zinns etwas erhöhst und eventuell mit einer map steuerst könnte das noch ein stückchen realistischer werden.

mei jetzt hob i scho wieda an durscht

I tweaked the tin material a bit. It has now more highlight, some anositropy and some little bumps. Unfortunately, I was not able to combine this danel-shader with a bump-map :sad:
