Would like to know what you guys think of the transition from concept to 3D.
The Character is a Real-time characters and therefore not so detailed.
1800 polygons

That is amazing, you seemed to have achieved a perfect transition from your original concept to 3D. Very nice sketch, and lovely texturing on the model.
id like to see a wireframe too!

It looks great, and I love the run cycle. Minor crits would be that it's arse isn't as well modelled as the rest, and I think that the back needs a bit more texture detail as its a bit flat compared with the nice work you've done on the rest. As to actually answering your question, I think it looks exactly like the concept, which I guess was what you wanted to hear :)
Is it going into a game, or was it just for fun?

You're so quiet pigbelly I almost missed your post;)
Good model. Somehow I think lower body should be.. umm. les humanoid? Its the proportion and texturing thing I think. At least
it look less humanoid at the sketch.
As for the anim.. well if you want some critique post less perfect

I think for a 1800 poly model it is quite impressive. It's not too easy getting quality with only 1800 polys.So with this in miond I say it is a very good job.I would like to see it in a game I was blasting away in.;) :beer:

My only crit is that it would look cooler with that long tongue, but that would ad a few more polys.

Very nice work bringing the concept into 3D, and great job with such a low poly count.

Dude watched your movies and all here we go... the animation is awsome!!! But i would have prefered to see it like your turnaround but have him running in one spot as the camera goes around but from the distance it looks sweet...i agree with textuing the back with some muscles or something its just plain grey ....as for concept to model it looks great!!! And i thought i was the only one left who does triangle gameing modeling but i see i'm not and there are others who do it and well!!! He looks Great!!!! :thumbsup: :applause:

Great model and i like it very much.
But I think that you should take some of the polys from the eyes to the shoulders. To make it alittle more smooth.
That monster would really scare me in a game. Like doom 3 or something.
