View Full Version : Eye setup: Targeting Eyes to Null
GoodCleanVegan 11-14-2002, 05:54 AM Yeah....I'm working on a human head and I was wanting an easy way to set up the eyes. I moved the pivot point of the eyes directly in the center of them and targeted them to a null....but there's a problem. The part of the eye that I want to follow the null, the pupil, points directly opposite of the null. Is there any way to fix this madness?

Rotate each eye 180deg the other way in modeler. You could try createing a bone in each eye and targetting that to the null.

There is a eye setup tutorial at the LW site ... it might hlp
A method I have used in the past is to parent a Null to the eye, positioned at the pupil, then target this Null to the Target-Null.
For clarity's sake you can go to the Scene Editor and hide and lock the Eye-Null.
