Be sure to check out his site @:

the price he's requesting is totally worth it if you ask me...i'm mean...just look at his flawless craftsmanship.

have you actually purchased the tutorial?
$17 isn't a bad price, but I'd want a review first. It's a shame it's not the whole body. :D

I'll post a review if I end up purchasing it.
It would have been cool if he had done a full body and rigging tutorial.
Hrmmm....i'd spend $50.00 on that.

a very short resume of the head-tutorial can be found at: http://www.insidecg.com/feature.php?id=14&page=1
Personally i think 16.50$ for a headmodeling tutorial is quite expensive. I have seen very good tutorials on the web free (mr2k.3dvf.com for example, it is french you can use babelfish (http://world.altavista.com/tr) for translation). I have also seen good tutorials in magazines (3D live) for half the prize. And it is more fun to read stuff that is printed than to read on a flickering monitor at 72 dpi.

*Selling MIB head tutorial CD*
heh... I don't know that I could recomend this tutorial CD. It would probably be good if you use lightwave, and need really step by step visual instructions.
I didn't learn anything from it myself, and it used lightwave features that I don't even have access to....
i manage pretty well with the tutorial in dan ablans ilw[6]

It is good. His approach is different. Details first and the add on. I haven't worked through it at all, just watched the video.
