Hello everyone, this is my most recent work, it is a duel that is going to start between a DarkElf and a Lich commanding a Flesh Golem . (you have to be a Dungeons and Dragons geek to understand what I said...)

Hmm.. I think the Elf looks a bit wierd.. I can't make out if his legs is towards me or facing
away..

The legs are in the "cowboy" position, he has to stand the weigh of the armor and sword,
I´ll tell you the truth, the "ideal" pose for the elf would be backfacing the camera, but it would prevent us from seeing the detail on the armor (which I spent a LOT of time), I tried many poses, trying not to hide the armor, and this one was the one I thought would be ok.

you could always have hte elf run away:D that would be more comical than you would be going for in that shot though:P

Felicidades hermano, hiciste un extraordinario trabajo de modelado y texturas, pero creo que la composicion destruye casi completamente la imagen.
Para empezar se ve todo muy plano, falta "depth of field" profundidad de campo, tambien algunas zonas borrosas fuera de foco y suavisar areas que tienen demasiado contraste.
Esos arboles para mi punto de vista no sirven, porque hacen que los personajes se vean muy pequenos, y no creo que eso sea lo que esperas, yo creo que hacerlos mucho mas pequenos serviria.
La iluminacion se ve de muy poca calidad, intenta usar mental ray y una imagen HDRI, una o dos fuentes de luz y te sorprenderas.
Creo que vale la pena probar tambien otros angulos de camara, pero bueno supongo que ya lo intestaste.
Todo el trabajo que haz hecho hasta ahora vale mucho la pena para que inviertas mas tiempo mejorandolo con una buena iluminacion. :thumbsup:

thanks for the heavy crit, this is my first work at this scale, but I like the overall ilumination, you are right about de Depth of Field, I havent tried Mental Ray, I use Fprime
